A machine outside our Room, worth checking out!!
The light needed fixing so up the man went and we
watched his every move, he felt like a movie star
when we clapped at the end!!
Beep! Beep! Beep! A small crane was fixing the white broken light.
It was cool bz bz bz the man put a new red light in.

On Monday there was a blue crane. The heavy crane came to Clive School.
The tall crane is coming to Clive School to fix the tall light.
The crane rises up into the air. The clean man fixed the light very fast.

Today a crane came to Clive School to fix our light up on the pole.

Relays for fitness
We are getting ready for our Cross Country race by getting in lots of running and action to get our hearts racing and lungs deep breathing.
Cross Country 2015
Here are our thoughts on the race yesterday.
When I first started it was scary. I wanted to go home but then I passed Daisy then it was fun. But my hips started to hurt. Then I saw the finish line and it was green. Cerys came first, Millie came second, Lilly came third and I came tenth. I felt proud.By Erika
Yesterday we did Cross country and I came 14th. My Dad wanted me to come first. I think next time I might win if I practise then I will get better. When I was going down from the gate I thought if I win I will be really happy.

When it was Cross Country I came eleventh! I ran on the green muddy grass. I ran to the dark green gate and back again. I heard my Mum cheering for me. I ran alot faster at the end.

I didn't win in the Cross Country. It is not fun at the Cross Country. I cried. We ran one race but Tamihana ran two laps. He is very fast.

On the day of the fun Cross Country I had to wait. Finally it was our turn. Bang! off we ran faster and faster down to the metal gray gate. At last there was the finish line Tye won, Max came second and I came third.

Yesterday I had an humungous race. I had a nasty hayfever. I came second and it felt sore! It was fun. The dark fence was green and it was short.

On the huge day of the Cross Country I passed Chance and Lexi. I was in the 6 year old group. I controlled my body super fast. When we stopped I came 6th. The yellow sun was shining. We exercised before we ran.

On Wednesday it was the Cross Country day. When Mrs Cornelius said Go! I jogged the whole way. When I got to the end I came fourth and I loved it.

In Room 1 we practised for Cross Country. I went around the huge field down to the gate around the field again. I liked it practising so much. Shame I did not come because I might have fainted because I was home sick.

Kapa Haka
On Wednesday mornings we go to the Hall and do Kapa Haka with Mr Bassett.
Can you spot some Room One kids?
Ashmeen was so good she got to go up on stage and help lead the whole Junior School.
Room One and Miss Morrell
Room One and Mrs Smith are helping show Miss Morrell how to be a teacher.
She is doing really well taking the class for small group work in Reading, Writing and Maths. She is also doing some whole class lessons in Music, Te Reo, Phonics and Phys Ed.
